Wine tastings have become popular at area restaurants and as fund raisers for the past several years, but a local wine and spirits store and a local cigar store have come up with “tastings” of a different kind.
Green Meadow Wine & Spirits manager Eric Harrell has teamed with Smokin’ Joe’s cigar shop to offer tastings and pairings of cigars and fine liquors.
The first was a bourbon and cigar tasting that was so popular that the two stores continued the tasting in June with a Scotch/Cigar Tasting, and in July with Patron tequila and cigars. June’s scotch tasting paired fine scotch brands with Aston cigars.
Tickets for the tastings are between $15 and $20, depending on the cigars and spirits selected for the pairings. Check with Smokin Joe’s and Green Meadow Wine & Spirits for the next event.
