May marks the 81st annual Better Hearing and Speech Month and The Hearing and Speech Foundation is celebrating in style with a fashion show and luncheon on Thursday, May 22 at 11:30 a.m. at The Barn Event Center of the Smokies.
Since 1927, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association has celebrated Better Hearing and Speech Month each May. This year, The Hearing and Speech Foundation invites the public to celebrate with them and learn about the good works being done for East Tennesseeans who are afflicted with hearing loss.
Tickets are $35 per person and include fashions from Boyd Thomas Clothing, Elle Boutique and Razberries, lunch, door prizes and a special presentation by one of the patients served through The Hearing and Speech Foundation. Call 865-977-0981 to purchase tickets.
The Hearing and Speech Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for nearly thirty years supporting our neighbors in East Tennessee who need hearing aids and speech services.
