U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander will be the keynote speaker for the Blount County Republican party annual Lincoln Day Dinner.
The annual event will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Heritage High School. Alexander is a Blount County-native, who has served as governor of the State of Tennessee, United States Secretary of Education, and president of the University of Tennessee. He is currently the third ranking Republican in the U.S. Senate, serving as Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference.
