With a snip of the yellow ribbon, Look Rock owner Andy Conatser celebrated his restaurant’s grand opening and kicked off a weekend of activities.
Look Rock Bakery and Pizzeria began with a mid-morning ribbon cutting, celebrating their breakfast/lunch crowd, then continued the party on Saturday night, when a crowd packed the pizzeria to eat, drink, and listen to the sounds of Dave Landeo.
While owner Andy Conatser did a soft opening in mid-January, the grand opening was a celebration for his patrons and the employees who’ve made the business a success so far. Landeo kept the audience entertained with his popular music and light-hearted style.
“I think it went great. It was a packed house,” Conatser said. “I was very pleased with Saturday. I’ve got another band, Faded Blue, lined up for this Saturday (April 26) from 8 to 11 p.m.
Conatser praised his employees for how hard they’ve worked since he opened. “They’re amazing,” he said.
While the business has come a long way in four months, the owner said his evening traffic at the restaurant could improve. “We’re still working on nights and trying to get people to realize we’re not just open for lunch,” he said.
The restaurant has a Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. everyday with $1 off appetizers, $2 draft beers and $1 off bottled beers.
