Kaye Huffman is Blount Memorial Hospital’s April employee of the month.
A three-year employee of the hospital, Huffman works as an outpatient greeter for the hospital’s security department.
Her supervisor says, “I’ve never seen Kaye when she didn’t have a smile on her face, no matter how hectic and busy the day. I’ve never spoken with anyone that didn’t have praise and good things to say about her.”
Huffman says the best part of her job is helping people. “I like meeting new people every day, cheering people up, and being there to listen and help them somehow,” she said.
Outside the workplace, the Maryville resident enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping with her two granddaughters and hiking in the mountains.
