Registered nurse Ramona Helms has been named assistant director of nursing at the Blount Memorial Transitional Care Center at MorningView Village.
In her new position, Helms will be responsible for patient care delivery, staffing, personnel development and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Helms received an associate degree in nursing from Wallace College in Dothan, Ala. A Blount Memorial employee since July 2007, Helms previously was employed as a nursing supervisor at Infirmary West Hospital in Mobile, Ala.
