Foothills Fall Festival vendors showcase talents, wares

Just because tickets sold out for the Foothills Fall Festival’s entertainment venue at the theater in Greenbelt Park didn’t mean people were out of luck as far as having fun at the festival. It also didn’t mean they missed all the music.

The Arts and Crafts area along Broadway downtown provided plenty of opportunities for festival goers to enjoy quality arts and crafts as well as good music. Vendors were situated in tents from Broadway Towers all the way to Founder’s Square beside Preservation Plaza.

A stage set up in front of Roy’s Record Shop also kept area musicians and singers busy entertaining the crowds that passed by the legendary store. When folks got hungry or thirsty, they “sat a spell” on the rock walls of flower planters or on benches situated at the arts and crafts area and listened to area musicians.

The Arts and Crafts area was sponsored by First Tennessee Bank.
