In the heat of August, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church began looking for love. They wrapped up that journey on Nov. 14, with a Logos celebration at the church on Sandy Springs Road.
The Logos program is a youth program that is designed to teach about God’s love. The weekly programs are designed to help youth mature in their understanding of their part in God’s kingdom on earth, said Rev. David Webb. The activities included a canned food drive, school spirit night, Veteran’s Day events, sports night and “money night,” when the youth wore green and collected $5 to buy care packages for the troops overseas.
Each Logos session consisted of family time, Bible study, recreation play and worship skills.
