Smoky Mountain Christmas Memories event includes crafts for kids

During the Smoky Mountain Christmas Memories event Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 at the Heritage Center in Townsend, members of Alcoa Garden Club will teach a free class to children ages 12 and under on how to make tree decorations. The class is 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, December 1, at the center. Materials will be provided, and there is no charge. Immediately following the class, children will take their decorations to the lobby and decorate the spruce reserved for class participants. Parents are welcome to participate as well. For more information, call the center at 865-448-0044.
