If you were stranded on an island, what one thing would you take?
“My Wife, Mandy Sitzlar, I’d want her to go with me. We’d sit there and make a life for ourselves on that island. If we ever hit it big and hit the lottery, we’d not quit work, we would open a snorkel shop. That would almost ideal for us to be stranded on an island, work on a tan and live like Kenny Chesney.”

What are you guilty of?
“Volunteering too much of my time. I volunteer my time and service to Fantasy of Trees and other committees and boards of different things. I want to help and often there’s not enough time in the day to do what I want to do. I find I volunteer my time and often that can cause you to be very hectic and on the move and constantly on the go. I needed to find a happy balance. I’ve begun to get better at that.”
What is one thing you have always wanted to do but haven’t?
“Travel to Australia, it has always been such an interest as kid to go there, between the aborigines and the animals that are so unique and the desire to see that, I think that would be a beautiful area.
What is your favorite material possession?
“Pictures of my family and friends, everything else, isn’t really of that important. Sometimes memories get fuzzy and pictures tend to remind you.”
What are you reading currently?
“Land Conservation Financing. I’ve never been a pleasure readier. I read for knowledge. Fiction just hasn’t ever done anything for me. One of the things I would like to do is beginning with George Washington and read an autobiography on each president. That would be as much a pleasure for me and boring for most, but those were phenomenal individuals who have directed and shaped society. They had to be such outlandish type characters, I’m sure.”

“The opportunity for professional growth.”
What is one word others often use to describe you and why?
“Determined, it’s about goal-setting and taking steps to achieve those goals and setting high goals.”

“My father, for me that’s who I looked up to, he couldn’t do any wrong. He was a family man and family was first. He could have taken jobs where he could have earned substantially more money and he would have been gone. His number one priority was us and going to our sporting events, help us with homework. I don’t think you would ask more than why would you want to be anything else.”
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
“I would slow down.”
What is your passion?
“I really enjoy spending time with family and friends.”
With whom, living or dead, would you most like to have a long lunch?
“My Father who we lost in April 2000. He shaped my values and love for family and society and always trying to do right by people and the community. He often volunteered too much of his time. He always wanted to help people. I think I have that same desire. Family was always first and commitment to school, education and bettering yourself and your circumstances.”
