Blount motorcycle shop earns Harley-Davidson honor

For the third consecutive year, Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell has been recognized by the Harley-Davidson Motor Company for high quality levels in sales, service, facility, and overall operations.

The dealership was recently awarded the company’s prestigious 2007 model year Silver Bar & Shield Circle of Excellence Award. The award is based upon the facility, staff training and skill levels, an evaluation of customer service and satisfaction, motorcycle and related product sales, and various operational measures.

“One of the primary reasons Harley-Davidson has such tremendous customer loyalty is because of the efforts of dealers such as Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell,” said Bill Dannehl, Harley-Davidson’s vice president of North American sales and dealer services. “We’re really proud to have Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell as part of our Harley-Davidson family, and we look forward to many great years of doing business together.”

Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell is owned by Scott and Monet Maddux of Maryville. The full-service dealership, located at 1820 West Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville, opened in 2004. The company also has a retail location in Gatlinburg and recently opened another full-service dealership in Pigeon Forge.
