Patrons at Aubrey’s in Maryville got treats but no tricks on Halloween as many of the servers at the restaurant dressed up for the holiday in clever and fun costumes.
Both the day and night crew had witches, cowboys and other characters dressed and ready to serve the patrons.
Guests also got in on the fun as youngsters came in their Halloween costumes. Assistant manager Kathryn Bowerman said management allows the staff to dress up for Halloween if they want. “It’s more fun to see what they choose to dress up as,” said Bowerman, “and it’s fun for guests to see the freedom the staff has. We’re not corporately run so we have that freedom.”
