Mane Support offers training and education

Mane Support is offering a demonstration and hands-on learning experience for their volunteers, staff and board, with Natural Horsemanship on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Vera Acres located at 2919 Davis Ford Road, off of Sevierville Road. The presenter at the Natural Horsemanship Day for Mane Support is Pam Proctor.

This is an opportunity to further emphasize why we use horses, the incredible amount of information their behaviors tell us and the healing power they can have with the children and families we serve. Mane Support is an equine assisted grief program, that provides support to those who have experienced a death, who are anticipating the death of someone they love or who have experienced other types of trauma.
