The GFWC Chilhowee Club is a community service organization in Blount County. This year the education department is collecting supplies for the Pre-K programs in Blount County, Maryville and Alcoa City.
Janice Taylor is the chair of the department. Each month members collect supplies and bring them to the meetings.
The speaker for the October meeting was Terry Shamblin, a pre-K teacher for Alcoa. She spoke about the pre-K programs in Blount County and Tennessee.
