Opening of area swimming pools -- Alcoa Springbrook and John Sevier Pools will open for the season at noon, Friday, May 25. Operating hours will be 12 - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 12:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Season passes are now available at the Parks and Recreation office at 316 S.
