And dont bother looking for subtle changes, inventory or small nuances someone would have to point out to visitors. The renaissance at the center greets visitors from the front entrance, where the ponds and water areas spout a welcoming hello. The new greenhouses rise majestically in the background. Customers may not be sure whether they are arriving to buy, or to vacation in the centers lush surrounding.
The goal of Gary and Julie Bridenbaugh, however, is for visitors to
take everything home so they can create their own
renaissance.
The Bridenbaughs and staff showcased whats new and whats different at Out of Eden at an open house April 21.
Landscape designers, lawn experts and nursery managers were on hand to offer tips and advice. There were door prizes, refreshments and specials all during the day.
Getting special attention was the garden centers water features and completely redone gift shop. From the selection of gift items available, it was evident that the garden center isnt just for gardeners anymore!
The Bridenbaughs bought the garden center in 1999, having moved into the area from Ohio. Gary, a farmer with a business degree, and Julie envisioned a retail garden company and a design/build center. With the new and enhanced additions, their visions are fast becoming reality.
