Celebrating her professionalism

It can’t be easy having 21 bosses, but Rhonda Pitts never complains. Pitts, who took home top honors on April 23 as the Blount County International Association of Administrative Professionals luncheon, was lauded for her professionalism and willingness to serve as she was named the 2007 Administrative Professional of the Year.

Pitts is the secretary for the Blount County Commission. The announcement came as part of the program at the IAPP annual luncheon at the Airport Hilton.

Blount County Commission Chairman Robert Ramsey and County Clerk Roy Crawford nominated Pitts for the award. "She is well deserving," said Crawford. "She really has a servant’s heart and tries to go out of her way to please everyone she can."
