"We continue to grow in Blount County," said Bob Sullivan, regional president for Blount County. "Our Townsend office will allow us to meet the banking needs of the Townsend community, providing additional convenience and great service."
There will be some familiar faces serving customers at the Townsend office. Ruth Lindsey and Faye Moser will serve as tellers at the Townsend branch. Both live in Townsend and have been involved in the community for many years.
"Our new location will really allow us to better serve our customers in the Townsend area," said Sullivan. "We are anxious for everyone to come by and see our new branch to experience Banking The Way It Should Be."
The one-story building includes a drive-thru window, ATM and night depository, and is located in front of the IGA Supermarket.
The new office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.
"We know its important to be convenient for our customers," commented Sullivan.
"Thats why we provide 24-hour banking capability through a variety of methods for our business and consumer customers."
