Reflections in Time exhibit showcases past

Fans of Blount County’s past gathered recently at the Top of the Plaza in Preservation Plaza to view a collection of historically significant Blount County photos. After the reception, the photos are now on display at the McGhee Tyson Airport.

The collection of photos is the second in a series that began with "Knoxville: Reflections in Time." That first collection was placed on display in 2006 at the airport and was viewed by thousands of travelers.

The photos in the "Blount County: Reflections in Time" collection are comprised of photographs taken by Dean Stone, editor of the Daily Times, and by other area photographers.

The displays at the airport are sponsored by Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C.

LuAnne Jackson was at the reception and captured these images of those who attended and the photographs.
