The second annual House of Courage Golf Outing was held April 28 at the Royal Oaks Country Club. Golfers participated in a scramble format with a shotgun start.
Prizes were awarded to the first, second and third place teams. There was a dinner and awards ceremony following the outing.
House of Courage operates a residential home for single teenage
mothers and their children and provides programs with the goal of
achieving a permanent change in a loving and caring home. They offer
parenting classes, financial management classes and General Equivalency
diplomas, personal growth, spiritual guidance and vocational and job
interview skills.
