It’s June, so anyone wondering where the music is coming from as they pass Maryville College should know it’s got to be Steve Kaufman’s Acoustic Kamp. The camp started June 10 and wraps up June 23 with the final show in Maryville College’s Wilson Chapel. The first week from June 10 to 16 features classes in flatpicking, fingerpicking, old time banjo, dobro, fiddle
and bass. From June 17 to 23 classes will focus on flatpicking, mandolin and bluegrass banjo.

There are nightly concerts at 7 p.m. at Wilson Chapel that are open to the public. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door. For advance tickets call 865-983-3330 with a Visa or MasterCard, or visit the Palace Café, 113 West Harper St., Maryville.
