Neighbors gather to celebrate World Religion Day

The things that join hearts rather than the things that separate opinions were celebrated on Sunday at the Blount County Public Library. A Celebration of World Religion Day was open to the public and more than 40 people showed up to celebrate and recognize the unity of all religions.

From singing "Ole Time Religion" to listening to readings to watching dances from Israel, a variety of religious beliefs and cultures were showcased at the event.
