Blount County Red Cross wants to hear from you

The Blount County Chapter, American Red Cross is celebrating their 90th birthday this year. The Blount County Chapter will be hosting many events during the month of March, which is National American Red Cross Month.

But what they really want is to hear from Blount County friends and neighbors on what the organization has meant in their lives. The Red Cross has touched many lives in the past 90 years through service to military families, disaster relief, health and safety training, Red Cross youth, swim lessons and many other services.

To celebrate this milestone in our community history, join with the Red Cross and tell "Your Red Cross Story."

If you have a personal story to share with the community about your involvement with the Blount County Chapter as a client, a volunteer or a staff member, the organization is asking for your story in 500 words or less. Mail it to the American Red Cross, Blount County Chapter, P.O. Box 4939, Maryville, TN 37802, or e-mailed to
