United Way of Blount County announces the addition of Joy DuVoisin as their new community impact associate.
DuVoisin, a native of Jefferson County, came to United Way from Ridgeview Psychiatric Hospital in Oak Ridge where she worked as a case manager for co-occurring state grant projects. As a case manager, DuVoisin assisted clients with substance abuse issues and mental illness.
DuVoisin will coordinate several programs for United Way, including Success By Six, Volunteer Youth Council, and the Happy and Healthy Birthday Project.
“I’m happy to become a part of the staff,” DuVoisin said. “I’m also excited to build upon the success United Way has established in the community.”
President and CEO Sandra Davis said, “We are pleased to have Joy with us. She will be a great addition to our team.”
