AAUW ‘Has it all’ is program topic for December

The AAUW Maryville Branch will have its monthly general meeting at 6:30 p.m, Monday, Dec. 17, at O’Charley’s restaurant located at 364 Fountain View Circle, Alcoa. “Educational Careers: AAUW Has it All” is the program topic. Several AAUW members along with special invited guests from Pellissippi State Technical Community College will share their non-traditional educational experiences.

AAUW Maryville Branch introduces five new members and one returning member: Arlene Catrett from Michigan to Tellico Village; Mary Cooper, returning technology teacher at Heritage High School; Rebecca Durbin , freshman at Maryville College; Linda Hageman,nurse, Friendsville; Malinda Taylor, sophomore at Maryville College;Patricia Wayne, retired teacher, Friendsville.

Everyone is invited to attend the general meetings. There will also be a book sale at this meeting.
