Baked Macaroni and Cheese
1 package (16 oz.)
macaroni
1 ½ to 2 cans (10.75 oz.) cheddar cheese soup
1½ cups milk
2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. salt
½ stick butter, softened
Cook macaroni until done, but still firm. Drain, then place in 2 qt. casserole dish. Stir in cheese soup, milk, butter, salt and cheddar cheese (reserving a little cheese to sprinkle on top). Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly browned and bubbly.
