A self-taught artist, Brichettos paintings are largely concerned with organic subjects: flowers in extreme close-up perspective. While much of her work is defined and realistic, at times her art is stripped of detail and approaches abstraction.
Coulter has studied oil painting with locally and nationally acclaimed instructors. Her paintings are included in many private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan.
A weaver for the past 20 years, Delashmit has worked as a studio artist for 12 years. She regularly participates in the Foothills Crafts Guild show and teaches at Arrowmont School.
In addition to Brichettos, Coulters and Delashmits work, Artsclamation! will showcase original works by more than 30 noted regional and local artists and will feature a variety of media, including oil, watercolor, pastels, acrylics and photography as well as an exclusive grouping of three-dimensional artists displaying jewelry, pottery and fiber art. The art sale is open to the public, admission is free, and free parking is available on-site.
Several students from Peninsulas Recovery Education Center art classes will also have art for sale. The Recovery Education Center works with mental health patients in a variety of artistic media to aid the emotional healing process through creative expression.
