Blount Today
I was so happy when my nephew Nathan told our family that his mother- and father-in-law would be attending our Thanksgiving gathering. I knew that a Thanksgiving visit from Jenny Swafford would mean something delicious added to our Thanksgiving table.
Jenny didnt disappoint. She brought a great salad that she simply calls "All-Time, All-Occasion Favorite Salad."
Its a simple recipe, but should hit the spot as we move out of one heavy holiday and into the eating season. This salad makes a great side dish or a great lunch that will enable you to save room for the seasonal goodies.
Speaking of "goodies," next weeks Blount Today will feature a special section called Holiday Treats. I have put together some Christmas recipes that I hope you will enjoy, and they will be featured in a special pull-out section of your Blount Today. Dont miss it!
