ETMG helps combat vascular disease, stroke

On Thursday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., East Tennessee Medical Group, in conjunction with Life Line Screening, will provide free screening programs for local residents at risk for vascular disease and stroke.

The screening will be held at ETMGs offices at 266 Joule St., Alcoa. Screening will be by appointment only.

Appointments may be made for people 60 years of age or older who have at least one of the following risk factors for vascular disease: smoking, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, or family history of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).
