Smoky Mountain Quilter’s Guild’s 30th Annual Quilt Show and Competition
Description
The Smoky Mountain Quilter’s Guild’s 30th Annual Quilt Show and Competition will be held on March 19, 20 and 21, in the Cooper Athletic Center on the campus of Maryville College. Over $5,000 in prizes will be awarded. This is the thirtieth year the guild has hosted the event. The event usually displays over 140 quilts in various categories including bed quilts, wall quilts, pictorial quilts, miniature quilts and other special techniques. A sale of small quilts will be held during the show to benefit activities of the guild. The small quilts being sold are made by guild members and this offers show attendees an opportunity to purchase a quilt from many nationally known quilters.
